Active Boating & Watersports Lifestyle magazine editorial team is headed by Consulting Editor, Martyn Willes – a long time water sports enthusiast, based in the Philippines, whose stories, articles and news reports are published internationally in print media and on the Internet. Martyn was previously the Consulting Editor for the Cruiser News and The Bay magazines.

Bruce Curran has for many years been involved in promoting Philippines water sports and tourism in print and on the Internet. His first major book – Combing The Coral Carpet – has become the defacto sailing/cruising guide to the Philippines. Bruce’s sometime unconventional insight into the water sports lifestyle provides an unexpected dimension to the informative articles in Active Boating & Watersports Philippines.

Girlie Cervantes is the Active Boating & Watersports official photographer and is frequently our direct liaison with tourism development groups and associations around the country. Girlie brings to our team more than twenty years of experience in promoting local and national government investment & tourism initiatives; her eye behind the camera lens has brought her to the attention of at least two former Philippine Presidents.
